Love hearts

Fancy making something special for a loved one (whether it be your partner, a family member, neighbour or friend) or simply want to treat yourself? Then these love hearts are full of nutritional goodness, kind to your blood sugar and taste amazing.



Dark chocolate (85% plus)

Chopped nuts & or coconut ( almonds & hazelnuts work best)


  1. Chop the strawberries in half and cut out the green bit leaving a heart shape or leave whole if you prefer.

  2. Melt the chocolate over a bowl of boiling water in a pan (careful that the bowl doesnt touch water or it won't melt properly)

  3. Dip the strawberries in the chocolate and then rolled in the chopped nuts or coconut.

Enjoy guilt free!

Nutritional Tips:

  • Strawberries are a low sugar fruit so enjoy them.

  • Dark chocolate is a rich source of iron, magnesium and zinc.

  • By adding nuts any sugar spike in the blood will be lowered.
